Sourcing Leadership and Cultural Inspiration, Magister Manajemen FEB Unud Students Conduct Industry Observation at The Royal Pita Maha Ubud
To deepen the understanding of culture-based hotel management and sustainability, the Magister Manajemen Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Udayana University, conducted an industry observation and field lecture at The Royal Pita Maha, Ubud, on Saturday (October 26, 2024).

The activity began with a room tour and an in-depth briefing by the Manager of The Royal Pita Maha, Ms. Dewi. Participants gained insights into personalized service management strategies, proactive guest complaint handling, and the characteristics of the traveler market seeking natural tranquility. The uniqueness of the architectural design, which harmonizes with the environment, was a key point in observing the facilities and services of this legendary hotel.
The highlight of the event was a learning session with Mr. Pande Sutawan, S.Tr. Par., MM., CHA, themed "Leadership and Entrepreneurship." In his presentation, he emphasized the implementation of the Tri Hita Karana philosophy as the foundation of business strategy, including how the hotel survived and adapted during the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Through this activity, Magister Manajemen students are expected to be able to compile evaluative analyzes of cultural hospitality service standards and adopt leadership and entrepreneurship values rooted in local wisdom to be applied in the professional business world.
