Educational Philosophy

The program’s educational philosophy aligns with that of Udayana University, as articulated in its motto: “Taki-Takining Sewaka Guna Widya” which means that those who seek knowledge must pursue both knowledge and virtue. Another interpretation of this philosophy also means wholeheartedly dedicating oneself to virtue and knowledge (https://kc.unud.ac.id/view/peraturan-menteri-riset-teknologi-dan-pendidikan-tinggi-nomor-34-tahun-2017-tentang-statuta-universitas-udayana). This philosophy is reinforced by Rector’s Decree No. 268/UN14/HK/2021 on the Educational Philosophy of Udayana University.

The inclusion of the terms “virtue” and “knowledge” is intended to ensure that education can encourage the entire academic community to develop into high-quality individuals, educated people who are devout to God Almighty, possess noble character, are knowledgeable, competent, creative, independent, democratic, and responsible.
