Public Lecture & Workshop: Financial Sector Transformation in the Era of Digital Finance, ESG, and Artificial Intelligence

The Faculty of Economics and Business, Udayana University, through a joint collaboration among the Master's Study Programs in Management, Accounting, and Economics, hosted a Public Lecture and Workshop titled “Financial Sector Transformation in the Era of Digital Finance, ESG, and Artificial Intelligence.” The event took place on Friday, August 21, 2026, at the BH Building Hall, FEB Unud Sudirman Campus, Denpasar.

Running from 07:00 AM to 12:30 PM WITA, the agenda commenced with participant registration, an opening ceremony, welcoming remarks from the Coordinator of the Master of Management Study Program, and the introduction of the keynote speaker. Following the opening proceedings, participants engaged in the material presentation and interactive discussion sessions, which formed the core of the event.

Mr. Wesly Febriyanta Sinulingga from the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia served as the keynote speaker. His presentation highlighted key developments in the financial sector amid ongoing digital transformation, focusing on digital finance, Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles, and artificial intelligence (AI). The presentation was followed by an interactive 60-minute Q&A session with the audience.

Through this event, participants gained a valuable platform to broaden their knowledge and analyze the rapid evolution of the financial industry driven by technological advancements. Deliberations on digital finance, ESG, and AI provided critical perspectives for understanding both the emerging challenges and strategic opportunities in the digital transformation era.

The event concluded with a closing ceremony and a networking lunch. This public lecture is expected to serve as a vital platform for continuous learning and intellectual exchange for the FEB Unud academic community, fostering a broader and more relevant understanding of modern financial dynamics
