Analyzing Electric Vehicle Consumer Behavior, Magister Manajemen FEB Unud Invites Expert from Chuo University Japan
Highlighting the importance of understanding global sustainability trends, the Magister Management Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Udayana University, held an international online Guest Lecture on Wednesday (June 11, 2025). The event featured Prof. Takao Nomakuchi from Chuo University, Japan, to examine green consumer behavior within the automotive industry.

In the lecture titled "Green Consumer and Green Marketing in Electric Vehicles", Prof. Nomakuchi explained the psychographic shifts of modern consumers who now prioritize environmental values and social norms in their purchasing decisions. He also compared the marketing strategies of global giants like Tesla, Toyota, and Nissan in establishing green positioning in the global market.

The session, attended by lecturers and students of the Consumer Behavior course, was highly interactive. A dynamic discussion ensued regarding the opportunities and challenges of implementing green marketing in developing countries, including Indonesia's significant potential in the electric vehicle market.
By inviting international speakers, the Magister Management Study Program remains committed to expanding students' academic horizons. It is expected that students will be able to adapt to the dynamics of sustainable business and possess strong competitiveness at both regional and global levels.
